You may purchase tickets for our concerts in a variety of ways: by telephone or in writing, by fax, e-mail or post. When booking tickets online, you may select seats for concerts yourself using the hall seating chart. Naturally the staff at the advance booking offices will also be happy to assist you.

Beginning of Advance Sales
Tickets for the 2016/2017 season go on sale 13 June 2016. (exception: anniversary concert 14 September 2016, Singen mit Klasse! 11 Febuary 2017).
Booking Fees
Please note that a 10% booking fee will be added to all advance ticket purchases (with the exception of subscriptions). Addresses from ticket orders will be used only for our concert information service.
Box Office
The Cologne Philharmonie box office opens 90 minutes before the performance begins on concert days.
Reduced Prices

Young concert-goers before the age of 26 have the possibility to experience the Gürzenich-Orchester for only 16 €. This offer is available for all 24 symphony concerts on Monday and Tuesday as well as for the gala concert at the opening of the season. For each concert there are 100 tickets in total available, including every category. You can purchase a ticket on presentation of a valid proof of age in any booking office or the box office, while stocks last. Please remember to bring your evidence of age to the concert and show it to the service staff of the Kölner Philharmonie upon request.

Recipients of benefits under the provisions of the SGB (German Social Welfare Code) II, wheelchair users and disabled persons with 100% disability or the letter 'B' in their disability card receive a 50% discount on the ticket price by furnishing proof of eligibility. The person accompanying a wheelchair user or disabled person receives a free ticket if the letter 'B' appears in the disability card.
Concert Tickets on Public Transit


Subscription passes and concert tickets are valid for use on the Cologne public transit system (KVB) and throughout the Rhein-Sieg transit network (VRS) to and from the Philharmonie (4 hours before the concert to the close of service of the respective carrier or until 10:00 am the following day).

Return and Loss of Tickets
Tickets may not be returned. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
Seating Changes
In exceptional cases, the hall personnel may ask a concertgoer to change his seat.
Visual, Sound and Television Recordings
Visual and sound recordings are prohibited at all times, including during Philharmonie Lunch. Please turn off your mobile telephone and pager when you enter the concert hall. The Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne reserves the right to make sound, visual and television recordings of individual concerts. By using his ticket, the concertgoer gives his consent to the creation and possible appearance of his image in the media related to those recordings.
